The cooking in this oven is largely excellent, although we have had trouble with the temp probe twice. We love the side open capability. We wish it had shelves which could be self cleaned - cleaning the shelves is awful.

I bought a Bosch oven primarily on the claims for baking. The side-open door is a nice benefit. But so far, it's a bust on the baking front. Steam pours out when I open the door, and cakes and cookies are not cooking all the way through ... still doughy in the middle long after the cooking time is done. If I bake it until the center is done, it's too dry everywhere else. Did you actually test the oven with baked goods? Any solution?

After a 7 month wait, the wall oven was finally installed in April 2022. The first time it was turned on a loud metallic clanging sound came from the oven, obviously from the fan. Scheduled a service visit and the convection fan WAS NEVER SCREWED IN. Of course, another two weeks pass by waiting for replacement parts. Hopefully, we can use the oven by this time next week.

I have been so pleased with our new oven. The oven preheats very quickly, cooks evenly with and without convection, and is quiet when running. I love the chimes that indicate when preheat temp is reached and when the kitchen timer finishes. I haven't used all the various features, but for baking sourdough bread, cakes, and meals it has been fantastic. Contrast my delight with the oven with some disappointment over the Bosch cook top we purchased with it. The cooktop sags in the middle and it's almost impossible to read the markings on the knobs.

This oven is so much easier to us than an conventional one.
I have arthritis and the side door makes it much less painful forme.
I don't have to bend over to put food in or take it out.
I am enjoying the many functions that the oven has.
Over all it is a great oven.

Being 5'4 I looked forward to this side opening wall oven with anticipation. Took many months to be back in stock and waited patiently and it doesn't disappoint!! From the ease of the door opening, slide out racks, self cleaning and many other options to choose from, it is by far the best oven I've ever had to bake with. So worth the wait and money. Even though I have a free standing Bosch stove, this has become my everyday use oven. Even browning of baked goods and meats, hardly any heat being blown into the kitchen while on and fast cool down. Just AWESOME!

I hate this oven. It came with the house. I have spent days trying to calibrate the oven. It is inaccurate by as much as 25 degrees. What makes this difficult is that the amount of inaccuracy depends upon the baking etc. temperature and mode. I've set the oven to bake about 18 degrees above the temperature setting. So at some temps and modes this gives me a more accurate temperature. However in convection bake, the oven is still off by around 10 degrees. I absolutely hate this oven and miss the Wolf range oven in my previous home.

I was really looking forward to this product, with the side door open option. However, unless you are in the immediate area when the timer is completed, you will NOT hear it. And it DOES NOT repeat itself. This is the worse product that I have had, in over 50 years of owning appliances, when it comes to notifying that the time has been completed. I have to now use an external timer so I don't overcook and/or burn items in the oven. The rest of the proect is very nice.

Two years back, I changed my entire kitchen appliances to BOSCH. BIG MISTAKE!!! The microwave was a nightmare. After spending $2 K in repairs and purchasing another one in frustration, BOSCH replaced it, but with a lot of angst. Now, my oven doesn't maintain the temperature. If I ask to bake at 350, it continues to preheat after I enter the oven timer. I have used the oven for two years, so it is not that I am doing something wrong. It is just an annoyance. My previous brand of appliances worked great. After 10 years, I needed a change of scenery. Not a single appliance broke. I made a mistake going with BOSCH.

Auto probe not working

When attaching the probe to the oven, it shows the probe for a second, the probe display theb goes out. It then shows that the probe plug needs to be plugged in when it is still plugged in. i've tried this several times with the same results.
