Ive had it now over a month and really like it Its so huge compared to my last fridge inside The drawers slide effortlessly and are easily adjustable. I have the same amount of food as in my old one and it looks almost empty I never hear it running either

Took over a week

Warning dont buy LG

Im not happy with the fridge. Ive had it for2 years now and the ice maker broke after 1 year. The compressor went out after 2 years and after some resurch I have found out that the compressor is junk and will fail And LG knows this.. thats the reason the compressor has a 4 year warranty. I have lost a lot of food and inconvenience on the junk compressor. I paid extra for what I thought was a quality fridge.. I could have bought many cheaper refrigerators. I will never buy another LG product because they know the compressors are bad but they still sell them.. There is a law suit on this also. GOOGLE IT. PLEASE...

Questionable Reliability

Fridge and freezer completely stopped working after a year and a half after buying brand new. Compressor and control board needed to be replaced per the repair shop technician whom came out a week after the unit stopped cooling. It took another week of waiting for parts and installation to be completed. Needless to say a brand new unit should last much longer than a year and a half before it stops working. Quality on this unit is questionable specifically the compressor from what Ive read elsewhere. Hopefully this same thing doesnt happen again within another year or two but Im not holding my breath at this point. Living out of coolers is no fun.

VERY Disappointed

I bought my refrigerator less than 6 months ago and it already broke down While the design and simplicity was what I was looking for I am completely disappointed The refrigerator has a smart trouble shoot that is supposed to make determining the issue easier however there is no way that I can find to register the refrigerator on the app to use the feature. Apparently it has to be connected to wifi but the instruction manual found online doesnt show how my specific refrigerator can be connected. Apparently my refrigerator cant connect to internet by what the manual and app have indicated yet the refrigerator has the feature to troubleshoot but I just cant use it This whole issue has been nothing but frustrating. I am waiting on parts which by the way could not be shipped to where I live a US territory but at this point I feel like Im better off getting a whole new refrigerator. Truly disappointed in how quickly the refrigerator went down. Apparently I have a defective refrigerator so not sure I can trust another LG like I thought I could. Next purchase wont be an LG based on this experience

The Worst service

If could not leave any stars I would. Its the worst service I have experienced and were talking about such a well known company. It start off they have You communicate from a chat. We tried calling Directly to a live Representative and I couldnt. I scheduled an appointment on November the 10th. They were scheduled to come out from 8 to 12 our refrigerator wasnt working and we packed all our food and coolers. We stayed communicated with them and they never showed up. We rescheduled it for the following day and also didnt show up. We communicated with him through the chat several times for them to tell us that they called and we never answered which is not true we provided them with four different numbers An email address so they had no excuse as to why they couldnt communicate with us. They wasnt till Monday November 13th that they showed up. It took them four days or all our food had rotten by then they promised us a check to replace Our food and have not yet received anything. Its unbelievable how Unprofessional inconsiderate this company is.

Good but bad

We bought our refrigerator in Sept 2020 and it was going great until Nov 2023. The compressor went out and we noticed it hours before we were leaving on vacation. We had our daughter come to our house and clean it out while we we gone cause the food was no good. We got back and ended buying a new fridge cause while I was on vacation I was trying to call LG service but said it was not under warranty. So when looking for a new one I told them about our LG and they said the parts have a 5 year warranty. I started searching for phone numbers to call finally got a person told him about frig and he strated a claim for me so long story short I got the frig repaired under warranty and now I use that as my second refrigerator.

We are very happy with the fridge. We did not want the ice and water features in the door as past purchases have been problematic. We are happy with the ice maker in the freezer and we still have plenty of room for our frozen foods. We werent happy with the LG registration process. The QR code did not work to get you to register the fridge. I took the long route and went to their website to register and that was not easy either. I finally did figure it out. I did try to email call text and contact LG by passenger pigeon but got nowhere fast. Emails were not responded to at all. Phone calls kept saying that call volume is high and no one is available to answer the call and then it hung up. Texting was the same result and so I am holding out hope for the passenger pigeon to come through. For such a large company I assumed that they would be interested in their customers who keep them in business but evidently they are not.

I have had my LG fridge about 2 1/2 yrs now. It has worked very well and fits in my Glprida home perfectly. I recently had a warranty request for a compressor replacement. The repair went flawlessly. My LG tech Alex Burgos in Ft Myers Fla did a great job of fixing my problem. He was very knowledgeable and skilled. Many thx to Alex for a job well done. My fridge is back in service. Criper Drawers Sag and Rub on Each Other

I bought the LG refrigerator approx. 2 months ago. It looks great and and fits nicely in our kitchen. Shortly after getting it we noted the sound when the doors are left open is very very quiet. I happened to be searching in the refrigerator when I barely heard it. I called it in to Customer Service and was told that nothing could be done with it to make it louder. The person liked what we said that Older people need something louder because hearing becomes a problem and an alarm is helpful to tell us we left the refrigerator open memory is another problem with old age. Soon after my wife noticed that the crisper drawers sagged in the middle and rubbed against each other. It was a month after we had it delivered on 19Sep23. After a long conversation with customer service using pics and describing the problem John told us to call Home Depot Delivery to have them check it out. John said he could not help us. I called Home Depot delivery and they said I had to wait until 14Nov23 for Home Delivery to come to my house to check it out. They came today 14Nov23 and said that it appeared to be a flaw in the design. There was nothing he could do. He said if you got another one like it it would problably have the same problem. He gave us a number to call if we wanted to return it. I checked Consumer Reports. It only had 2 negative comments. One discussed the same problem - crsiper drawers that bowed in the middle and rubbed on each other. We entertain a lot and I wish we had a new refrigerator we could be proud of. Thank you for lettting me speak out.

Pretty but dents.

I bought this a year ago it was a refurbished and came with a dent. I didnt make a big deal about the dent however it very easily gets dented. There are now 3 in the door and we have only owned it for one year and it is not under warranty and LG did not offer to help.

I was worried because I purchased food and was surprised to find the refrigerator not working properly. I contact LG and they assisted with defreezing the unit and troubleshooting over the phone. I called the next day to schedule a technician to come and replace parts. Thank you LG.

Linerar Compressor will Fail

Purchased New in October 2021 Lasted exactly Two Years and one month. Compressor and Control Board Total Failure. I too had thought LG had solved their inverter linear compressor issues. But this is not the case. Was unable to wait weeks for parts to repair even with extended warranty Had to purchase a replacement. different brand Will not purchase any unit with a Linear Inverter Compressor.

I wish I had checked before I bought it. Who thinks about a water filter for the ice maker on a fridge with an ice maker? They dont say anything in the products specs. Ill have a filter installed on the water line next week otherwise its tap water ice cubes. SMH

Looks Nice Fails Fast

Purchased this refrigerator New in September 2021 and the Compressor and Control Board failed Two years and one month later. Unable to wait weeks for Parts and repair. No option had to buy another Not LG You will see many that received a short term benefit from owning one of these. I was hoping I would get lucky and get one that lasted. I did not. I have numerous emails for sales upgrades promotional buys etc. BUT when it came time to get answers from your company to come out and check the ice machine on my NEW refrigerator I could not get an answer from anyone. I had to call Home Depot place of purchase to contact your company and have someone please look at our issue. And yes he did and he fixed it. But please dont ask for another review. I bought our refrigerator 3 weeks ago and Im wondering why. ? Delivery was fine. Refrigerator looked GREAT. SHELVING IS A BIT ROUGH TO MOVE AROUND . Then the ice machine leaked. Called emailed called emailed emailed and emailed. Had to call the store where we purchased the frig to get service for the ice machine. Well the gentleman who came to check it out really TOOK HIS TIME AND checked out the ice machine and found there was a leak from a gasket. He fixed the problem and so far so good. If it wasnt for him theyd LG would not have gotten the stars we gave. The customer service department sucks. Other that the saleswoman and the fix it guy Getting bull emails and no answers from people who is suppose to do that kind of stuff because thats their job Any how ask us in 6 months to see if the frig is still here or back at the orange box

I really did like the refrigerator

I bought this in 11/3/21 and got the 5 year warranty. Around the end of August or beginning of September 2023.the fan and compressor stopped working and spoiled my food. After many calls to LG they couldnt find Anyone to service it . Since it now over a month they keep telling me I will hear something in 1 to 3 days never happened then they told me just to get rid of it. So I purchased a new one September 25 and I am still waiting for LG to get back to me. I am very disappointed in LG right now

I purchased this refrigerator as the size was what I needed for the space I have. It is smaller than the 1 I had at my previous home so I was worried it wouldnt hold all I need. I am very happy with the layout of the interior. It actually looks bigger than my previous one. And it runs so quiet I dont even hear the ice maker My only concern is there is no filter for the water used for making ice.

Best fridge we could find with this width. One plastic door shelf was unstable and eventually broke but LG quickly sent a replacement. Lots of room. Single glass shelf provides more room especially when putting bigger bowls or trays. Plastic parts could be a bit more stronger. For example when the fruit and vegetable drawers are full they bent a little and touch each other in the middle. Not a big issue but does not feel sturdy. After 10 months we are happy with this huge fridge.

I bought this fridge a little over a year ago and I love it. Its sleek door handles and beautiful stainless steel finish are amazing. The horizontal compartment is wonderful. I put small items like cold cuts cheese and cream cheese in this easy access drawer. The ice maker is fast and the ice tastes great. The doors have holders that are deep and hold six gallons of milk and juice. I truly love this fridge. I waited forty years to buy a new fridge and this is the one I chose.
